And now with the assistance of modern technologies, manufacturers compete in a growing market to produce the Ultimate Surrogate Female.

Man's Quest for the Surrogate Female (Episode 1)

A complete and often humorous history from Stoneage to Modern Times. Fueled by massive doses of hormones, man is driven to seeking ANY substitute that will hold his calling card. From caveman club to modern computer, man uses whatever tools he has at hand to create an often less than perfect replica of his female counterpart.

My Love, My Friend, My Companion (Episode 2)

Who buys these surrogate companions and how are they looked upon by their friends, co-workers and society in general. Conisiting of interviews with owners, manufacturers, psychologists and sex therapists, we explore the competitive world of the surrogate companion and its impact on society. We travel across the continent with two very different surogate companions to see how people react and meet other doll owners along the way.

The Creator! (Episode 3)

From concept to end user. How they are designed, constructed and marketed. Also modifications, maintenance and repairs. Several manufacturers of mid to high end dolls give their perspectives. It is a buyer beware market with purchasers often sending thousands of dollars to supposed businesses with no fixed addresses. Some purchasers have been waiting years after sending their hard earned money to some of these unscrupulous people. We also visit some of the more reputable manufacturers and vendors. We even set up our own online Teddy Babe Store to see what awaits the potential reseller. In some states it is illegal to sell sex toys but guns and violent games are condoned. Does a doll pose a greater threat to society than a hand gun ? I can't imagine a man using a doll to commit "armed robber" ... then again, it does have arms :) I don't have a problem with prudent gun ownership. I am more concerned about the religeous or moral motiviation of the people who would make these ludicrous laws. Laws that appear to be self serving to their lifestyle. They promote prejudice. They promote tunnel vision and they result in the erosion of individual rights. Is not this the ttrue threat to an open society.

Doll Tales (Episode 4)

Their forums, their stories and their perspectives. An in depth look into the world of doll owners. Who they are, their work, their hobbies, their culture, their interaction. How they would like society to see them. And also a look at some misconceptions of what owners are not. We go deep into the culture of a 20,000 member forum and meet a diverse assortment of owners form all walks of life and all around the world.

The Pagent (Episode 6)

In this 6th and final episode, we have a pagent for the title of The Ultimate Doll. Manufacturers and owners will be invited to enter their Dolls in the Doll Chronicles' Pagent to compete for the top honor. Judging will be done in numerous categories, with the highest total score becoming the first Ultimate Doll. (Category prizes will also be awarded). A secondary category is being considered - Best Prototype.

Judging Categories being considered are Best Dressed, Most Seductive, Most Beautiful, Most Functional, Most Durable, Most Creative, Most Pose able, Most Human ,Most Versatile, Best Design, Best Value and Most Talented ... just kidding on that one :) A judging panel will be appointed with experts from various fields and a Ms. Congeniality selected by audience vote. Prizes to be announced before opening of registration.. Date and location will be announced.

We have a lot of logistics to work out in this episode, and invite any and all input and suggestions.
